^^ dont listen to Paul.. Eve isnt about character skill it is about understanding mechanics and friends.
It is important to start hy flying cheap stuff and learn basic mechanics. Do not play high sec station games, those are rigged for you to lose.
If you wish to solo right away you need to start doing ti by flying executioners etc. Dont be afraid to lose 30 before getting a kill. It is easier to join a corp that can teach you the ropes regarding frigs. Friends are important in eve and you need to count on your opponent having them. A BS isn't meant to solo a frig! The frig alone will take half an hour to kill you, but he is comfortable since you must likely cant kill him anyway! I am terrible at buttonpushing but if you look at my kb I might seem a halfway decent PVPer... eve online is like real life, just like in RL where a rocket launcher isn't your best bet for killing the guy next to you on the bouncy castle... bigger isnt better in eve. You just need to learn. This takes experience and friends. |

You'll find that very few corps actually care about that. EVE is about people, what happened to you is in no way exceptional. Feel free to apply to my corp in game sometime soon. Which is a small gang EUTZ fw corp like many others, who would have little qualms taking in newbies. If you are willing to learn, which can be done at 3m per executioner. The first month yoh take each fight, lose a lot and learn what to stay clear of. Before long with help you'll be getting kills, just takes getting out and trying and dying. |
